Hi, I’m Kimi
I’m an Emmy Award-winning photojournalist, editor and Part 107 drone pilot who believes the best stories are felt, not just watched.
I chase the small details and quiet moments that make people care. My job is to connect people with the stories that matter and bring forward the voices that need to be heard, building trust between the media and the communities we cover.
I’m someone who looks for ways to grow, takes initiative, and isn’t afraid to step into something new. I’m always asking questions, seeking out opportunities to learn, and finding new ways to challenge myself and my work. I bring my life experiences into every story with empathy, kindness, and an open mind. The people who let me into their lives, on their hardest days and their happiest, deserve nothing less.
Outside of news, I compete nationally and internationally in Equestrian Mounted Games and spend time in the barn with my horses, Willow and Cozy.
